I was worried beforehand about the possible cost of treatment but the therapy was so effective and efficiently administered that the cost was minimal.
Pat trained at St Thomas's Hospital, London and qualified with honours. After working there for a year she then spent 18 months abroad in Cape Town, South Africa working at Groote Schuur hospital in a variety of roles, including working on the heart transplant team. On returning to the UK she worked in a number of sports medicine practices in London and Surrey before setting up the "Frome Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic" in Frome in 1991.
Her particular interests are chronic back pain, the provision of orthotics to correct biomechanical foot problems and sports injuries. In her spare time Pat enjoys the Dorset countryside, her garden and Pilates.
Lynda graduated from Bath School of Physiotherapy in 1991 and completed a wide range of rotations in NHS hospitals. In addition to specialising in musculoskeletal conditions, Lynda has 12 years experience as a research physiotherapist, investigating the scientific evidence base for the most effective physiotherapy treatments. Her particular interests are back pain, joint pain and sports related conditions, particularly prevention and treatment of injuries and musculoskeletal performance enhancement in sport. Lynda is currently studying for a Masters degree in Sports Physiotherapy at Bath University. In her spare time she enjoys traditional hand tailoring.
John originally graduated from Bath University with an honours degree in Applied Biology. After 12 years in horticulture he went on to retrain at the Bath School of Physiotherapy and continued to work in Bath the Royal National Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases, specialising in rehabilitation. Following 2 further years as a senior physiotherapist in Gloucestershire treating orthopaedics and sports injuries he joined the team at Frome for 8 years before leaving to live abroad for the winter months. He now rejoins the team for the summer.
Having completed 10 marathons he has a particular interest in sports injuries and spends much of his spare time paragliding.
Ruth trained at Guys Hospital, London and continued to work in the
NHS within London for 3 years before working privately, specialising
in musculo-skeletal conditions with a special interest in orthopaedics.
Ruth then became an army wife which has led to extensive travel.
In 1995 she moved to Cyprus where she set up a Sports Injury Clinic
and on her return she has worked in London and Northern Ireland.
Now living in Wiltshire, Ruth is in the process of completing a MSC in Manual
Therapy and in her spare time adores walking in the Wiltshire
countryside with her 3 children.
